71.5 MPH Top Speed:

The 2016 FX Cruiser SVHO delivers breathtaking high-speed performance with a verified top speed of 70-71.5 mph (115 km/h) . After a 40-minute action-packed race back to the ramp averaging 80 kph (50 mph), reviewers hit a GPS-recorded top speed of 115 kph (71.5 mph) – with still a couple of bars of fuel remaining in the 70-liter tank . That’s pretty impressive if I do say so myself .

0-30 MPH in 1.8 Seconds:

The supercharged SVHO engine provides explosive acceleration, reaching 30 mph in just 1.8 seconds . This neck-snapping launch is the result of the supercharger and intercooler working together with the new, larger Hyper-Flow jet pump to deliver massive torque from the moment you hit the throttle .

250 HP Rotax SVHO Engine:

The new SVHO engine produces approximately 20-percent more power than the SHO before it, and features improved cooling, a more efficient intake manifold, and stronger forged engine internals . The new, larger Hyper-Flow jet pump helps turn that power into electrifying acceleration, and the Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) gives smooth and efficient power output. Newly designed forged pistons are 30-percent stronger, aiding in performance and reliability .

The engine has no problems pulling away and leaving the other behind you . Its 1,812cc of torque gets it off the line quickly . All of that makes this beast much more than a lake-faring minivan, even if it has features like cruise control, comfy seats, and cupholders .

RiDE® Dual Control System:

The world’s first dual throttle handlebar control system is easy and intuitive . Pull the right lever to go forward, and the left lever for reverse. Pull them both, or in any combination, and the system reacts with precise control. Benefits include better handling and smooth deceleration . The RiDE braking and reverse system is a pleasure to use, just a gentle squeeze on your left hand trigger controls the amount of reverse thrust to either slow you down or to put you into a complete reverse. Reversing is a dream, turning in its own length .

Electric Trim System:

The electronic trim system, with its 2 simple buttons by the left grip, offers complete control of trim position, on-the-fly . Just click the trim in as you pull a tight turn and then trim out again to blast away at top speed .

NanoXcel2 Ultra-Lightweight Hull:

The innovative NanoXcel2 hull and deck is over 50 kg (110 pounds) lighter than traditional hulls (and 21 kg lighter than the outgoing NanoXcel version), making it handle like it’s on rails or just as comfortable in big choppy conditions, and more importantly, making the NanoXcel2 hulls, decks and liners the lightest in the industry . It’s incredibly strong, yet ultra-lightweight, delivering an impressive power-to-weight ratio, agile ride and industry-leading fuel efficiency .

The hull features a full keel for excellent straight-line tracking and comes with full-length outside chines for better stability in turns, particularly with multiple riders onboard . It cuts through chop well, again courtesy of the length, making this a hull superbly suited to open waters and rough conditions .

Cruise Assist / No Wake Mode™:

Yamaha’s exclusive features reduce throttle fatigue, improve towing capability, and can extend the range of touring. By setting a consistent engine speed, Cruise Assist reduces throttle fatigue – making towing and long tours more comfortable, while No Wake Mode caps the WaveRunner’s speed, allowing for seamless navigation through slow-speed zones .

Cruiser Seat:

The theater-style 3-person Cruiser Seat features double top stitching designed to provide plush accommodations for all-day touring . From 4-step tilt adjustable steering to a large, extended swim platform and twin handles for re-boarding, this FX SVHO Cruiser has it all . The moment you set your eyes on the Cruiser you can’t help but notice the high-backed, wide-saddle seats, trimmed in two-tone silver and perfectly matching with the color scheme .

Pull-Up Cleats:

Convenient pull-up cleats help make tying up easier then offer a clean look and neat appearance when not in use . Tying up to the dock is a breeze with the pop-up cleats. No more risking damage to your ski by tying up around the handlebars .

Multifunction Instrumentation Panel:

Provides a quick read on speed, RPM, fuel level with low fuel warning, low oil pressure warning, hour meter and check engine light with self-diagnostic function . The FX SVHO Cruiser has Command-Link Information system with everything from an analogue speedometer (that can double as a tachometer), and dual LCD screens reading the fuel level (with low fuel warning), hour meter, low oil pressure warning, and check engine light with self-diagnostic function . I loved the ability to work out your fuel consumption for those long trips .

Security System:

The PWC’s Security Mode can be activated remotely with the push of a button to disable the ignition when the WaveRunner is not being used . Activated just as easily, Low RPM Mode can be used to conserve fuel .

STORAGE CAPACITY

Great care has been taken to design plenty of storage into our world beating FX SVHO Series models so your adventures can be longer and take you further . There’s also ample storage onboard with 126L of bin space located up the front of the vessel and underneath the rear seat which can be easily lifted away for access .
