Revolutionary 5-Speed Paddle Shift Transmission:

Driving the YXZ1000R SS is just like driving a paddle-shift equipped sports car . The sequential 5-speed manual transmission with Yamaha’s Sport Shift (SS) technology allows for quick and precise gear changes without the need for a clutch pedal, enhancing control and driver engagement . Key features include:

• Pulls of the massive cast aluminum shift paddles crack off insanely quick shifts, allowing up or down movement between the gears even at wide open throttle .
• The transmission will hold a gear to redline and stay there, putting the driver in total control .
• It will downshift itself on heavy braking and return to first gear upon stopping, but the rest is up to the driver .
• This is the UTV industry’s most hardcore transmission, designed for serious abuse .

10,500 RPM High-Revving Triple Engine:

Smart Cooling System
To ensure peak performance every ride, the YXZ1000R features a vented, rear-mounted radiator. This system not only reduces heat in the cabin, but it remains clear of mud or debris build-up and is designed to funnel cool air through the radiator at low or high speeds equally well.

COMFORT
Ergonomics Built for Performance
The YXZ1000R cab features plush, high-back seats with extra lateral support and outside shoulder bolsters, and the cockpit provides a balance of driving confidence with comfort. Shaped floorboards provide generous legroom while still giving a planted feel, and both the driver’s seat and steering wheel are adjustable to ensure a perfect fit.
